There are so many women who will just settle for a man so they can say they are in a relationship. So, youre in a relationship, and? Are your needs being fulfilled? are you happy? Because relationships dont mean anything if youre just occupying your space with a man for the simple purpose of marking the in a relationship choice on Facebook. Make sure its what you want, make sure youre ready to commit yourself to another. If you know in your heart youre not ready, do not actively seek. By settling for less, you are in essence cheapening yourself and not giving yourself enough credit. We all deserve to happy and loved, but only if it is lasting. I am my own person, and frankly, I enjoy being as independent as I can be, and with my life that can be a little challenging, but I like doing my own thing. I am not ready for a relationship, and frankly, I may never be, and for me, thats OK. However, there is one thing I refuse to do, and that is settling for less just to fill an empty void. Love deserves so much more respect than that. Im almost 30, and I do not have a man, and Im not married, but to me, that is perfectly fine. Love and marriage do not have expiration dates!
