There are some libertarians who call themselves feminist who think that women are now equal with men and even that it is now men who are oppressed. Look at the postings on this page and tell us if you think this is so. Furthermore the women who say this can only say it from a position of uninformed middle-class privilege. Though even women in the US are still at the mercy of legislators who want to control their bodies and poor women here are not equal at all (some have to work 2 jobs to feed their kids), and black women are constantly discriminated against , in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa, women are still treated like property and worse. Dont they matter? This is NOT the kind of feminism we advocate. We care about the oppression of all women everywhere. No ideological grandstanding here, only facts.
