There are some who say that they are a good person without God; if true, they have set a standard that is incredibly hard to keep up consistently. Because of the finitude and fallibility of mankind, there will be a time (or countless!) when you stumble and fall. Eventually there will be a person or several persons there to remind you of your blunder(s); and some will never forgive you or let you hear the end of it (let everyone know about it on Twitter, Facebook, or YouTube for example). Ironically, the only person who will always forgive no matter what (if you truly believe in what he said and did) is Jesus; in fact, Christ willingly hung out with the marginalized and outcasts of society ( and was criticized for it). Christianity is the only worldview that offers eternal and everlasting forgiveness.
