There are two 15 year old girls missing, one from her backyard in her pajamas (Elkhorn), the other never made it home from school (Millard), and there have been several home burglaries, attempted and successful. Ive been made aware of 3 cars being vandalized, and my cousins car was stolen, quite literally out of her hands...and this was all west of 132nd St. Crime is on the rise in Omaha, and it doesnt matter how far west you live. Everyone please be safe, take no chances, and discuss all of this with your children. I am personally guilty of being too comfortable and oblivious to my surroundings way too often, and all of this news is changing that immediately. We need to be aware of each other, and for each other. Stay safe, friends.
