There are two opportunities to hear Cilla McQueen speak tomorrow as The Friends of Hutt City Libraries present Cilla McQueen - A poet’s life (in so many words) Cilla McQueen is one of New Zealand’s most loved and awarded poets. Writing poetry developed from Cilla’s habit of keeping a diary, which explains its approach to life as a rich mixture of days, moments, casual acquaintances, intimate confessions and occasional shopping lists. Wednesday 16 October 2013 Petone Library Community Room at 2.30pm Afternoon tea served, gold coin entry Wednesday 16 October 2013 Eastbourne Library at 7.00pm Wine and nibbles served, $5 entry (door sales only) These two performances have been organized by the Friends of Hutt City Libraries and Rona Gallery of Eastbourne.
