There are two reasons why we should never compare ourselves with others. First, we will always be able to find someone who seems to be doing a better job than us; and we will become discouraged. Or second, we will always be able to find someone who doesnt seem as effective as we are; and we will get full of pride. Either attitude will take us out of service and rob us of our joy. Nobody is good at everything, and no one is called to be everything. We all have defined roles. Be sure to do what we should, for then we will enjoy the personal satisfaction of having done our work well, and we wont need to compare ourselves to anyone else.
