Rich with 160 years of haunted history. Saturday 10th May 2014 Once a row of small cottages and then a pub, the location has had its fair share of visitors through the years. Many characters have left their mark on the location and still go on to haunt those inside its walls. Fascinating to me was that when visiting the location I found it to be a place not only haunted by its past but a place spirits seem to flock to. It’s almost like a gateway, a gateway that doesn’t fail to prove there is life after life. For me this investigation is one of the most exciting locations I have been to. I have investigated over 70 locations in my time but nothing like this! Good friends of mine from two separate private investigation teams have investigated this location both with phenomenal evidence that this location is haunted by countless spirits. One of the teams used ghost box sessions using radio frequencies to communicate with the spirits at The Royal Oak with overwhelming success. Clear spirit voices can be heard talking back to the investigators. We will be using Ghost Box on the night! This investigation is very different in that the general public have never been given access to the location to investigate it’s hauntings but for one very special night I have been given exclusive access to The Royal Oak, Swanage which has to be one of only a few untouched haunted locations in England. You are invited to join me for the night as we investigate what has to be one of the most exciting ghost hunts I have ever conducted. Many have experienced the hauntings through the years, sightings of a man in the bar area and in the garden, during works in the garden they found a vertebra bone that was reported to the Police. The police concluded the bone was approx. 300 years old. Who did it belong to and why was it buried in the garden? When speaking to the landlady, she detailed many occurrences of spirit interaction with visitors including - People poked or touched on the neck Sightings of full apparitions upstairs Net curtains upstairs moving as if someone is peeping out Glass shattered by itself on the bar Smell of hay or stables near cellar area Sightings of wispy smoke in back room Doors closing Pictures falling off walls with force Sound of footsteps on floor above bar. Footsteps heard outside the bathroom on first floor Rapping’s inside the walls and on furniture in response to questions Sighting of man apparition in garden. Sightings of apparitions in the corner of the main bar Odd feelings in some of the rooms upstairs Feeling cold in some places Tugging on clothes 2 spaces are remaining on this event.
