There are various challenges that the world is currently facing. Some of these problems are hunger, natural disasters, wars e.t.c. Some of these problems have been triggered by the effects that humans have caused onto the environment. One of the greatest challenges facing the world today is how to feed the ever increasing population and at the same time, halting the environmental degradation problem. Despite the fact that the human population is increasing rapidly, the available land has remained fixed. This has lead to an overuse of the available natural resources. According to the World Bank reports, 50 million people live in the poorest Africa, Latin America and Asia and suffer form chronic undernourishment. In trying to come up with a system that is agricultural and environmentally friendly, there is need to balance our food production and the natural resources that support it. Other wise, the problems currently facing agricultural production will continue.
