There can be no "may or may not happen" when we operate in the faith of God that Jesus advocated in Mark 11:22. Jesus had faith without doubting when it came to the barren fig tree because He was certain that God cuts off and destroys every tree that should but does not bear fruit. (Hebrews 6:8; Isaiah 5:6; Luke 13:9; Matthew 3:10; John 15:6) To move in the faith of God is to move in absolute certainty. To speak with such authority demands that we know that we know that we know that something IS the will of God. We can have absolute assurance that a mountain will be removed and cast into the sea when the removal of that mountain is in the will of God for our life. Likewise, we can have absolute assurance that our sins are forgiven in the name of Jesus when we have forgiven those who have trespassed against us. We may think we are moving in the faith of God, but if our faith is not grounded in the will of God it is presumption. The proof of this presumptuous faith will always be found in the sobering reality that we do NOT have those things that we have spoken.
