There could be nothing more crystal clear than this, could there? Here we have a school principal declaring the SRI program is a predicament. How much more obvious do principals need to make their message? Burden, hassle, inconvenience, disruption, joke, predicament - whatever you want to call it - schools are under pressure here! They dont need this added headache to deal with. Due to timetabling constraints SRI classes next year will be offered during lunchtime. This complies with current DEECD procedures and expectations while still giving our students the opportunity to attend SRI classes at school. I have spoken to the SRI providers and they understand our predicament and direction. This expression of interest will provide SRI teachers with indicative numbers and give them the opportunity to plan the 2015 program. If you DO NOT wish your child to do SRI next year you do not need to return this slip.
