There has been a lot of talk on the qualifications required for HRD Minister. Ministers are required to understand a problem, analyse it, sort out the pros and cons, the pluses and minuses, the strengths and weaknesses, and then take a decision. This requires a mix of intelligence, common sense, general knowledge and commitment to the cause. The decision is a fallout of the application of common sense to knowledge, which do not need theoretical studies to that extent. All this shor sharaba on education level is thus bunkum and an invention of stuck minds looking for something to talk about. To me this seems to be aimed at Modi indirectly and that is all the more reason that it needs to be shot down as a dastardly act of manipulative minds who cannot think positively.
