There has been so much talk about this Ice Bucket Challenge & I just do not understand it. People are getting annoyed..??? Dont watch the damn videos and thank your lucky stars you dont have this ugly disease & pray nobody you love ever gets that diagnosis! I lost my very dear uncle to this awful disease in 2008. His body just started giving out on him little by little. I wont get into the horrific details but it broke my heart and the hearts of all who loved him. So I ask, what is wrong with a movement that captures peoples attention to raise literally tens of millions of dollars in a very short time. I say nothing. Not a damn thing. The Ice Bucket is just to get people to pay attention some never even heard of ALS. I think it is wonderful. Raise Awareness & Raise Money. And I personally would like to thank every single one of you who has participated, who intends to participate in this challenge and all who have donated money to this cause. This disease needs a cure. All diseases do. Until then lets hold onto hope & love, and each other. Hope your resting easy Uncle Johnny, miss you all the time
