There has recently been serious unrest in the wards where #DeathRow prisoners are held in Qezel Hesar Prison. This was sparked after 11 or 14 prisoners were taken to be executed. The heavy handed response calmed the angry prisoners in a few hours. It also left behind serious casualties. At least 10 inmates were reportedly killed. Witnesses from within the prison reported that the area remained heavily guarded by Special Forces for days. The man who is wearing black and speaks emotionally is about to be executed. His name is Ebrahim Zirak. “They want to take me to kill me,” he says. “I have 3 children. One is at the age of being married. I havent done anything, but they say that I have to die. My friends are proud and they wont let them kill me.” Then another prisoner says: “we wont let anyone be killed anymore”.
