There have been a few folks asking how we recommend storing your peaches after they have been picked. Here is some basic information: Gently remove the peaches from the box and refrigerate any of the fruit that you are not going to eat or ripen right away. Make sure they are not in a plastic bag and that any container they are in is vented properly. Take out any peaches you want to eat and (if necessary), place in a cool area out of direct sunlight to ripen. Wash then eat! If your fruit begins to ripen sooner than desired in the refrigerator, then remove from the refrigerator, wash, remove pit, cut into 8ths and freeze in a freezer bag, removing as much air as possible. They may discolor a bit, but they will taste very good. Sincerely, Bill
