There have been many Facebook posts about the torrid, complex, difficult and debilitating divorce of Scotland from the UK (Lord Robertson of Port Ellens wise words). They have been dismissed by the Yes campaign as scaremongering. How much longer can heads remain buried in the sand? This is now happening. Today. For example, Mark Carney and George Osbourne are now not going to the G20 summit. Thats fine, maybe, this time round, but this will keep running for years after a Yes vote and detract from the pressing need to get on with running the country. Shell, Standard Life, RBS, BP, Virgin, John Lewis all raising concerns. Yes argue things might not be that bad and claims are exaggerated. Id invite anyone in their right mind to argue that these warnings collectively represent a GOOD proposition for Scotland or the UK. I agree entirely with Lord John Reid when he says I have some respect for those who admit to the risks of Separation, but insist that independence is worth those risks. I have no respect who would pretend to the Scottish people that separation carries no risk. I have asked dozens of Yes voters online about their attitude to this risk and every single one has entirely dismissed the issues. Sad, baffling and really worrying.
