There is a guy at work that for some reason thinks my name is John. I can see jacking up someones name because we dont work in the same group, same floor, and rarely see each other. But he started a conversation on our messaging app with a Hey John even though it clearly says Rex Spell. And then he came down to my cubicle where I have a big block letter name plate outside of that says REX on it. Yet he still calls me John.
