There is a hidden message in this. Notice the end, that the white guy just wants to understand black people and thats how I feel at times. At the end of the day were all just human beings with similar wants and needs. I have to ask, who is the true racist that is portrayed here? Is it the white person reaching out, how ever clumsily, or is it the black people who are getting offended at his blunt comments. Is it racist to try to engage with people you may not fully understand in an attempt to be friendly or is it racist to say that someone cant use specific words simply because they are not one of your kind? Who is the true racist here?
