There is a huge difference between loading a dysfunction and reactive neuromuscular training (RNT) where we feed the mistake. Loading is basically adding volume, intensity and frequency to a dysfunctional movement pattern. You will almost always cause compensation and actually reinforce the problem. In contrast, feeding the mistake uses just enough resistance to make the proprioceptive systems of the body self-correct to maintain balance and improve alignment. RNT requires correct dosage, so some studying and training is required. Movement screening for a baseline is a minimum requirement so you can gage your dosage and observe positive responses to dictate progression. To get your head around the concept of RNT you should start with the jump study in the appendix of the Movement book. The science is not new. Its based on proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation. Its just a few pages, but it may facilitate good discussion and get you thinking. Heres more: movementlectures/MEG0214-01.html
