There is a huge personal growth industry in the developed world that is based on feel good rhetoric and positive thinking. What if I told you that this whole genre of personal growth is utter nonsense? What if I told you that real personal growth and transformation is a journey into the roughest terrain you can even imagine. What if I said that if you really want to change, you might have to face and overcome things you wish you never had to acknowledge much less examine. Would you be willing? If so why?
