There is a lesson to be taught in training and that is respect of being humble to humility. I have posted numerous videos and more of the continuous prs I have hit and continued to hit on squat. So with that today was first time in the 45.5 weeks I have been prepping I did not meet or exceed my squat goals. I had 5 sets of singles with 485 lbs on tap today which is 92.5% of my 1 rm in which I have done and hit plenty of times. I can tell and feel by my warm ups I was not right. I am not ashamed to show when I fail, miss, or lose as it keeps me humble with the humility. As well it allows me to remember I cannot wear the S on my chest everyday. So this clip is of my first attempt and I fail miserably, you here me speak to myself and get beyond pissed and frustrated. I went for another attempt and that was just as messy. I simply skipped the 3 remaining sets and dropped it to 5 sets of 315 x 3 just to keep something /volume in place. In all grateful for not injuring myself and grateful it happened now vs. the day of the meet. Leave this one behind, chalk it up for the next session and keep/stick with the plan. #atncoaching #health #wellness #nutrition #training #performance #powerlifting #bodybuilding #physique #bikini #figure #fitness #iifym #flexiblediet #balancednutrition #fitfam #showprep #improvementseason #offseason #teamaesthetics #igoham #gohard #indomitable #juggernaut #power #strength #endurance #athlete #squat #deadlift
