There is a new debate now. Should Shakes Mashaba keep Senzo Meyiwa as Bafana Bafana number one keeper, or is Itumeleng Khune going to walk about into the team? What is Shakes going to consider or what should he consider? It goes without saying that in the two matches that Senzo has played, he has not only kept clean sheets, he has been an outstanding leader, a pillar of strength and his passion was never in question. His breathtaking saves, celebration and how he ushered his defence reminded everyone of that fateful day in the DRC where Senzo kept Pirates in the game against TP Mazembe and everything else. Do we continue and give him another chance, show that his contribution, which was spotless and lacking nothing, is appreciated, or do we call back Khune? If we call back Khune, what do we say to Senzo? How do we justify it? If Khune is to walk back in, what does it say to him, what does it say to Senzo? Shakes Mashaba has a beautiful headache here. I love it for him and I back both Khune and Senzo. Lately, Senzo has shown just how brilliant he is. I trust Shakes to make a spotless decision that will be in the best interest of the nation.
