There is a quote by Albert Einstein that says, The world will not be destroyed by those who do evil, but by those who watch them without doing anything. Speaking up against evil, greed, injustice, and taking action against it is part of putting up a fight. Yes, there are forces doing things that are destroying, limiting freedom, committing horrible injustices. They are making the American Dream unattainable for many, and in some ways creating a nightmare. Those forces work hard to keep us quiet, immobile. Yet, we can all do something. Our passivity is enabling them, assisting them. In essence, we may be handing over our own American Dream, and those of others. Voting is one way to take part, but we can also take part in grassroots organizations, sign petitions, boycott those who treat employees as less than human, join groups that defend the rights of humans, animals, support groups that are working to protect the environment, OUR environment. Be CRAZY enough to think you can change the world... and you will see that you can.
