Hi all! Things are coming along nicely with our new place so we can now announce a few job opportunities for those wanting to work in an exciting new Crêperie / Café / Bar in Shrewsbury. We are looking for energetic, confident and motivated staff who have experience working in a café / bar atmosphere and can undertake a range of tasks, from ‘behind the scenes’ food preparation to ‘front of house’ interaction with customers. We are particularly interested in at least one person who has experience in food preparation. Staff will be expected to be knowledgeable about our specialist food and drink menus in order to effectively engage with customers, and undertake regular training / tastings as new items are introduced. We are also especially interested in at least one person who is either experienced in making crêpes or is prepared to undertake training with Sophie in the weeks before we open. BAR STAFF We will require evening and weekend bar staff who ideally have an active interest or passion in wine and craft beer. Bar staff will be confident in engaging with customers about our selection as well as food pairings (dont worry well train you!), and be flexible in adopting other roles such as preparing and serving food. Our scheduled opening date is late October / early November and although we are looking for daytime, evening and weekend staff all will be expected to be flexible with their working hours.
