There is always a wilderness to pass through before we get to the Promise Land but like the sons of Israel we still fix our gaze on the Forbidden Land that choked our essence, our being, causing that faith we have in a God so powerful escape like steam. Living our lives in secular conformity, held in bondage under the tyranny of the familiar, we have lost focus of who we are and what our destinies are. But there is hope when evil lurks and everywhere seems murky; there is light ahead when darkness seems scary and there is no Tom, Dick or Harry. That hope is Jesus. Words aint sufficient to describe His awesomeness, benevolence, magnificence, omnipotence, omniscience. He is my redeemer, saviour, friend, the only one with a name so supreme that no one can contend with. He is gonna lead me through this wilderness, and with Him I am fearless. I am going to journey with confidence and courage like Caleb and Joshua until I make my mark as was destined for me by Yehovah. What about you?
