There is hope... God heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3. What assurance that God deeply cares about our hurts. His will isnt for us to live our lives in hurts, but to recover and move forward. Yes, there is a grieving period that we must go through. Its necessary for our healing. Its a period just after our hurts, that we need to cease being givers and just rest in our Heavenly Father, allowing Him to comfort us. But after a season of mourning, we must make the decision to slowly move forward. The journey isnt easy at first, but Jesus promises to walk each step with us. I will turn their mourning into gladness; I will give them comfort and joy instead of sorrow, declares the Lord. Jeremiah 31:13. If your heart is broken today, take some time to allow God to comfort you. He will wrap His loving arms around you and will heal your pain. During this period of mourning, you are not required to be strong. Just rest, cry, and grieve. Eventually, you will hear Gods gentle voice telling you its time to begin moving forward with your life, one step at at time. Each step you take will give you strength to take another one. Storms do come, but they are only temporary..... Choose life...Choose Jesus.
