BAMBOOZLED! We have all been made a fool! The question is not about the killing of Michael Brown or Trayvon Martin, racism or police abuse of power. This is a problem of perception, prejudice, cultural beliefs, political as well as police corruption and gullibility. But most of all this is a situation where a handful of unseen puppet masters hiding behind the scenes pulling the strings that encourage us to occupy our time, effort, and recourses fighting each other so we don’t see the truth of what is really going on all around and happening to us in our everyday lives. It is very interesting to me that statistically there have been numerous unjustified killings by police and heinous abuses of power by all law enforcement (local, State and especially federal) from time to time. These crimes against the public citizenry are not limited to just black or Hispanic, but all Americans across the board are being victimized. Black, white, brown, red, yellow and everyone else including some of the good cops are being victimized. But let us look at what the media chooses to publicize. These two cases that were brought to the national public eye were picked specifically because they both had complex legal issues, questionable witness statements and were extremely racially divisive. (BTW choosing sides is foolish, both sides are wrong) The interesting thing is neither of these instances are a clear cut case of wrongful murder by the authority whereas there are many murders committed by the authorities across the country every week. Most of the real abuses are covered up and ignored by the media. WHY? Most people refuse to believe the truth because quite frankly the truth is so bazaar that it is unbelievable and that is what they are counting on. People tend to believe what they want to believe in spite of reality, we stick our collective heads in the sand in ignorant bliss and will keep it there until reality circles around and bites us in our ass!
