There is joy in salvation and until you find this precious fruit of The Spirit working in your life you will worship God religiously. In John 4:22, Jesus told The Samaritan woman that she worshipped what she didnt comprehend. The Jews had periods in which they prayed during the day likewise The Samaritans so I believe at every praying hour this Samaritan woman will go to the mountain and recite the same prayers. She didnt have true knowledge of God. Prayer is not a ritual but a love affair with God. When we say our Father we imply You are My healer, savior,righteousness,banner,peace, everything. The joy of salvation stems from the knowledge of The One you are worshipping so when you say You are my healer your heart leaps with joy because you know what you are saying. This was the reason why Jesus could pray for hours. He just knew who The Father was. May The Holy Spirit reveal The Father to you. March 26,2013
