There is little evidence beyond the suspects own words to warrant a panic of jihadist terror in the US. Furthermore, I posit a few thoughts such as: 1) What are his true ties politically and financially? If he is just an average joe with no terrorist connections or money, then it is just his position. Nothing more. 2) People kill people for any number of reasons for revenge. Whether they are hispanic, African American, Russian, Jewish, what have you. What makes the story of an Islamist murderer any different than the rest OTHER than he is at the least connected through lineage to the Middle East? 3) If we are willing to let emotions such as fear, hate and ignorance rule over logic, then the next murder by a Hispanic/Mexican should be covered by these folks. They should be making an issue of that. Then the next Jewis, the next Russian, etc. It is a play on specific fears and ignorance. 4) They ask in the piece why no riots?. I propose it is because we dont have a large number of Middle Eastern murders in the US. We have plenty of white officers killing black human beings in the US, so the issue is common enough and has been going on long enough to warrant a reaction. 5) Is there any link to the murderer and any government agencies, US or otherwise? It could be that he is a bitter Islamist OR even possible that he is a plant by one or more US agencies to start the fear, hate and scare in the US so that a foothold can be gained. Thank you for your time and hope this sparks some thoughts and emotions. If you do get mad or upset, consider why. It may not be for the reasons you initially think. It is time to open our minds beyond the drivel that we are fed.
