There is more than one machine in my democratic city. Many seem to be drunk with power or the thought there of; the sad thing about it is that they promise plenty and deliver very little. Hidden agendas and back door deals are often made by those that you believe in, trust and claim to know your struggle the most. That word Change is strong and we fall for it every time; hoping that we can finally be included in all that truly makes local government work. Unfortunately, things seldom change. smdh
