There is much bullshit flying around about how the Forced adoption implementation group is selling mothers down the river and how influential adoptees are controlling the agenda. The link here is the make up of the working group which is formed to assist in implementing the governments commitment. it is not there to go over old territory which has been previously covered. The group consist of 4 mothers (now lizzy has left) three adoptees (one a person adopted and raised overseas)one father three senators and a chair with another now to be appointed. This group covers a wide range of opinions including those from established service providers like Vanish. Now is not the time to invent the wheels because some want to act like republicans in the USA and have a giant dummy spit. Now is the time to work within what is available to provide a best outcome possible with the limited resources available. The fact that the organisations like the Catholic health and salvation have not stepped up to the plate is something that can be pursued . But by Lizzy removing herself from the table she has effectively disenfranchised all those who followed her ideals . just as origins are not at the table now her supporters have no representation. hence they no longer have a say in the final outcome. maybe there is a desire to maintain the rage as hatred is the key factor amongst many and needing someone to hate is really what they are about
