There is no doubt in my mind that there are many ways to be a winner, but there is really only one way to be a loser and that is to fail and not look beyond the failure(Kyle rote jr.). These words reminded me of the words found in Micah “when I fall I shall arise and when I am in the dark I shall be enlightened”. This means that we were born to fail and succeed only when we realize why we have to fail. You may be sad and depressed because you do not know the purpose of your failure. I am telling you that each and every experience, interaction and message in life is a tool to empower you to succeed. Failure itself is nothing but an obstacle to define you at your lowest point in life. I have made mistakes in life; I have fallen and expressed emotion. I have been ashamed and I have even faced my own pride. Through this journey of failing I realized that failure is nothing but a character builder. Without a strong and a steadfast character you cannot withstand failure. I have often realized that failure repeats itself even though it modifies the way it reappears in our lives. If you have overcome failure before what stops you from doing it again? Failure is not our enemy but our friend during the most unexpected times. Do not get me wrong I do not enjoy failing however I enjoy learning from my failures and my mistakes. If it is not your goal in life to become your best I don’t know what you are still living for. I live for God, for my family, my friends, myself and everything that brings out the best in me. Committing suicide or making hasty decisions because of failure is uncalled for and unacceptable. GOD would never call us to our destiny if it was not our right to succeed. You have a choice between good and bad. Unfortunately at times the outcome is not always the desirable outcome but remember an adjustment brings the most desirable outcome. What do I mean? You may be the man in the Bible that was sold by his own brothers to become a slave and years later when famine had striked the land he became the Supreme King. You become King to the multitudes and not only your family. My point is at the time you found yourself in a hole, sold and betrayed by your own brothers you had enough reason to kill yourself because you have failed and life has failed you even more. If that man had killed himself who was going to be King? And who was going to protect the country from famine? What you may see as your weakest moment and greatest failure may also be the platform for you define history. Out of failure victory can be born. It is not for me to tell you what you should do about your failures but it is my destiny to inform you failure cometh for a little while and victory is forever. Do you want to submit to something that is temporary and do you want to decline from making your mark in history? I have sworn to myself that I will fail and succeed. I cannot be able to appreciate success if I know not the inverse of it. I mean I will never be rich and wealthy If I do not know poverty. When you know what it means to be poor it empowers you to seek everlasting wealth and when you know what does it mean to be weak it empowers you to pursue strength. Your background and past record has no bearing on what you are capable of and on how far you can go in life. You may be a product of your past but you are not its victim. Let not the mistakes of your predecessors become your stumbling blocks. The great apostle Paul says to the Philippines not forgetting my past, my failures, my mistakes and flaws I look not behind me but I press on , I move forward to what lies ahead, I pursue the destiny that God has set out for me to behold. I am saying do not fail aimlessly but in your failure be strengthened, motivated and empowered because the best is yet to come. It is not about how many times you fall that counts but how many times you pick yourself up to finish the race of life. Remember we are not competing for places and awards but we are aiming to finish this race as winners. When heaven and earth pass way they will know I stood the test of time and fought the good fight of faith. To fight good is to fight without ever giving up or giving in. I always tell myself it is always too soon to quit and if you having doubts about living or winning, do me a favor and start doubting your doubts.
