There is nothing more satisfying in life then when we are doing what we need to do to make ourselves happy. We have to be responsible for our own self-care and nurturing. When we can provide this on our own we live with a sense of freedom and assuredness because we know that, no matter what hardships we are in or what hardships are to come, we have an internal source of love, guidance and power that we can tap into to get us through to the other side. Never depend upon someone else to know what you need and when you need it. It is important to communicate those needs out in your world so that others can adjust their expectations and the relationship can be healthy. Too many of us place the happiness we need to keep and maintain in the hands of others, and there is no way for that to be ultimately satisfying. Feeling good is an internal state that you have to create in your life by taking care of yourself in the ways that only you know how to do and can supply for yourself. When people truly love you they will understand those needs and support you 100% to meet them. This is the great thing about loving ourselves, it only brings us more love.
