There is nothing powerful about speaking half-truths. I disagree - TopicsExpress

There is nothing powerful about speaking half-truths. I disagree with her perspective because it still proceeds form a colonial, exploitative mentality and an idealist fantasy. No, we are not all one, and no this is NOT a class issue. To the full-blood and mixed-blood indigenous people of this continent, the root problem will always be COLONIALISM. Before there were borders on our continent and before there was a class issue there was COLONIALISM. Its amazing how many of our people (so-called latinos) have shared this video. Its amazing how easily they are wowed, fooled and brainwashed by other races. Her thoughts, far from liberating or standing for the empahty or the defense of our people are still colonial in nature. But its easy to fool and control people who have no knowledge of self, are filled with a false sense of pride and who are ignorant of their true indigenous history, culture and identity. Their full human rights as the indigenous people of this continent will always be anulated and Xed-out by any simple foreigner. Just like how blacks use brown and black unity too fool native people into accepting Afrocolonialism and the illegal uninvited presence of blacks in our continent, which robs from the indigenous birthrights of our full-blood brothers and sisters. Yes we need the humanity and good-will of whites and other races but we dont need half-truths and ideologies which in reality rob us from our full rights as indigenous people and whose motive is to keep on taking advantage of the colonized, enslaved condition of our native race.
