There is one thing the guard poster never talks about. The brotherhood and support you get when things go bad. For those that dont know, I had a tow rope come through the windshield of my truck yesterday. One foot, seven inches (roughly) is where the rope and tow shackle landed from my face. About half hour layer I had a panic attack. I had just realized I was feet from death. Later yesterday night I had another one. Today while I was alone with my thoughts I had my worst one ever. But the only thing that was able to calm me down was another guard guy. Different unit. Never met him before. But he stayed by my side until i was ok. He proved to me that some people arent in it for the money or the recognition. We are in it for each other. We truly are in it for each other.
