There is so much sadness today at work as we prepare to say a final good bye to a co-worker and friend. The part that really breaks my heart is the conversations I hear; so many people trying to explain their grief and tears. The fact is, we spend a minimum of 40 hours a week together, acquaintances are made and friendships are built. No matter how much or how little interaction we have with each other the loss of one still hits us hard, we all feel it. He was such a good guy, always with a smile, if you had a frown he had something positive and uplifting to say. So, on this day, and at this time, if you are feeling sad please don’t feel like you need to hide or explain your sadness, it means you have a heart and he touched your life. We are allowed to grieve, but in your grief, remember the good times, share your stories, remember his smile and know God has called home an angel. He will be missed by many.
