There is some of this conversation in the article but one of the most amazing moments of my life happened at this pre trial.. and what was missed in this was a statement by judge Kingsley about civil disobedience. He closed his statements today with talking about Henry David Thorou and about the book civil disobedience. ( A book I have on my daily playlist in audio format hehehehehehe) it was an incredible feeling of validation to here this. The experience felt surreal to me. He mentioned that he had went back to read this book after years before in college for this case. He spoke about the relevance of it today and he closed by suggesting the prosecution read the book. There is a feeling of validation and joy that came with this moment I will never forget.
