There is some very foolish talk about offering Lois Lerner immunity in exchange for prosecution. There could be nothing more counterproductive and downright dangerous. Heres the problem: You offer immunity if you believe that immunity will get the witness to tell the truth. But Lois Lerners entire history, all the way back to the mid 1990s when she abused her power at the Federal Election Commission to harrass Illinois candidate Al Salvi, demonstrates that this woman is a Democrat party hack first, last and always. She is a true believer, who would be far more likely to commit perjury than to tell a truth that is damaging to the Democrat party line. Immunity is certainly a logical tool in this battle, but shes not the one to whom it should be offered. Look for others at the IRS who are real career public servants and NOT Democrat donors or activists... who have also been involved with the Lerner harrassment or were on the sending or receiving end of the famous destroyed emails. These are the people to whom you offer immunity. People likely to tell the truth, because theyd rather protect their own hide than the corrupt and demonic Democrat party.
