There is something special, something magical about sharing a table with friends. The chance to laugh and eat and drink and laugh and drink with folks that you see more rarely than you would otherwise have it is one of the simpler overlooked pleasures in this life. Its so easy, so simple. So deceptively rewarding, that I think, speaking for myself alone, that I often overlook, ignore, or forget its value. That value is the chance to feel apart, share victories, embarrassments, and hopes with people what are looking to do the same. If you have the chance, find a table with some friends.
