There is something that I dont understand here. Our President Mugabe is castigating the USA and EU countries for imposing what he claims are the most calamitous and evil sanctions on our country in order to effect what he terms as a regime change. How will that apply? Who or which organisation do these superpowers have in mind whom they want to impose after their so-called conceived objective of regime change has been achieved? I think this borders on the imagination. Zimbabwe is in this current deplorable state it is now all because of an incompetent government that our president leads. A lot of revenue that was generated at Chiyadzwa diamond fields that could have resuscitated our economy was wasted through unbridled corruption while most of such revenue went to his Chinese friends. Today the country is in tatters but he still cannot admit his failures instead its the sanctions, imaginary as they are, which are to blame despite his trusted lieutenant Patrick Chanamasa openly admitting yesterday that government has no capacity to eradicate corruption which was instigated by their clueless way of running state affairs. In any case, both the USA and those EU member-states have always been involved in humanitarian aid to Zimbabwe that such a calling by our president is definitely without any merit.
