There is something the Holy Spirit laid in my heart that i want to share with you friends. After the cell meeting yesterday, i and some of my members thought it wise to visit some of our members also, who where not in the meeting. On discusing with one of them about the important of serving God dedicatedly and been blessed by God heavily. She said to me, "what if, after you have serve God dedicatedly and at the end of it, you see no possible change around you?" understand, that this happen regularly in the body of christ. Now this was what i told her, "then you have not really serve Him" because i understood from exod 23v25, that if you serve, He will bless. But when she laugh at me and shook her head, i knew she was serious and that she had really serve. So when i ask the Holy Spirt, this was what He told me " many WORK for God, but only few WALK with God, that is why we have the so called "church rats" understand please that we are labourers together with God, not labourers for God. 1cor3v9. Never you think you are helping God because you can,t help God. That was what happens in the old testament when some men where trying to Held the ark of God (that symbolise God)from falling, they end up falling and dying. God is not please with us trying to do things for Him(working), He is rather please with him doing things with us(walking). You can work for God and not walk with Him. But you can,t walk with Him and not work for Him. So when you are walking with Him, working for him flow naturally. That was why God told abraham (Gen17v1b) "Walk before me.." Noah walked with God.(Gen6v9) And he work for God. When you are walking with Him, you are able to know him, hear him and know what he wants you to do per time, and when you do it, He blesses you, because God can never tell you thank you, He blesses. Thats why you always hear my father David Oyedepo say"If God can,t do it for me, let it remain undone, if God can,t take me there, let me not go there." Thats a man walking with God. Man naturally, we are selfish, we always what to get something from everything but when it doesn,t come, we feel cheated and backslide. Many use God, rather than letting God use them. serving God for things. "God, whether you do it or not, is you and nothing else." that is what you should be saying. The other time, i overheard a lady praying, "God i have serve you, bless me, i can,t serve you and my life is still like this..." No, it ought not to be so. Papa say something, "eventhough God said today, no heaven again, i will still follow him" thats a walker with God. As i close, sorry the me$sage is kind of very long, i can,t help but tell you all. From today, lets Start WALKING WITH GOD, NOT WORKING FOR GOD.
