There seems to be this knee-jerk reflex, habit, or belief among some on the #right, that one must subscribe to every #conservative belief in order to call oneself a conservative. The same is true of the #left & #libertarians. Personally, my #political stance is hybrid. On many things, I lean conservative, a few things I lean libertarian on (mainly social issues) & there are a few things I agree with the left on (mainly in terms of solutions, I agree to disagree or agree when appropriate for me, but I believe in some level of compromise). Id like to know what percentage of ones beliefs do you believe must be in accordance with a specified political ideology, in order to proclaim membership in said ideology? Is it any percentage? 50%? 70%? or must it be 100%, no exceptions. I believe that most #Americans, whether they know it or not, share beliefs with all sides to a degree & there really isnt a label you can affix to them. Yet there are others whose #politics are fixed & firmly polarizing.Your thoughts? studentnewsdaily/conservative-vs-liberal-beliefs/
