There was a band at the college I attended (Central Christian College of Kansas, for those interested) called Daughter Silas. They formed up my last year there and they rocked. I knew all the members to varying degrees and had the privilege to perform with most of them at different times. All very talented. Ed Purcell (Im listening to Life in a Jewel Case as I write it and you are a beast on the drums!), William Scandrett, Bryon Bailey, Shaun Dwyer, Jeff Neufeld, Rob Wolcott, the late Clay Corder and any other guys that made their way in and out of the band. Thank you for adding a much needed kick in the musical back end of the college music scene. I recently picked up a collection of their old stuff that is available online. Its a little rough in the production, but the talent of these musicians are not lost. Check it out, my friends. camaflyartists.bandcamp/album/life-in-a-jewel-case
