There was a fatal stabbing early this morning in Brockton, Mass., according to Plymouth County DA Timothy J. Cruz. At 4:57 a.m. Friday, police received a call for an unresponsive man on the porch of 56 Green St. in Brockton. The unidentified man found on the porch was covered in what he appeared to be blood. He was suffering from apparent stab wounds. He was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. Investigators have determined that the victim did not live at the residence where he was found. His name is not being released at this time pending identification and notification of next of kin. The incident remains under investigation. NECN will have more on this story later today.
