There was a man, heavily forlorn with struggle coming from opposing ancestry. He longed to unify both sides of his heritage and his heart was heavy as he knew if he were to marry he could not please both sides and one side of his family would cast him out. As it was, the powers that be were equally unsure how to proceed. Ares said, This is a matter of conflict and struggle! This is my domain.! And then did Eris counter, This is struggle that is true, but it is not a matter of War but strife and discord. This requires a womens touch, and Ares said, Goddess Damn it! As one might have guessed, then appeared Aphrodite, Indeed, but this is a marital affair, not a brothel Eris. Cupid and I shall handle this, besides, it is I who guard the gate of ecstasy, between the Anima and Corpus Mundi. It is I who allow the world of flesh to be born. All lives through me, and I let be as I chose. Then came Athena who told unto Aphrodite, What you say is indeed true, but though you the keeper of the gate it is I who justly administer the forces as they are brought upon the Earth. It is I who maintain civility, liberty, and pioneering. And from on high did Hekate spake, I was around long before the gods, before the rock of ages and beyond any realm am I. I travel across the worlds freely as I chose. I have experience far beyond years, and greater is my wisdom of the powers that be, than even yours, Athena. And Athena spoke, And so it is you Hekate who shall preside over this matter? And Hekate replied, No, for it is not my place. Part of being so ever-eternal is to know this. For if I am to be personable to you in this matter I must come as Aradia and leave behind my turning of the wheel from on high. Then who?, said Aphrodite and again did Hekate reply, You must seek Hermes, only he a facilitate between the gods. He who can communicate across the fold. All matters of division and integrate are his. Through him are all your powers properly manifest upon the Earth in the prescribed proportion. For he administers the medicine of each to every god, on earth and in heaven. So it is, that even today the wise, amongst the heavens and amongst the Earth, seek Hermes in unifying the wisdom of heaven and Earth. As Above, So Below.
