There was a point in time in which it was illegal for African Americans to learn basic knowledge and yet we still overcame that and produced many prominent scholars , doctors etcetera alike and yet sadly in this day and age in which is the age of information and technology it seems African Americans have taken steps backwards and have become willingly ignorant by choice to the point some have begun to start to act literally like animals, but what puzzles me is that where and when did we lose our way?from all the freed slaves who gained knowledge and became extraordinary historical figures all the way to the freedom fighters who marched, were lynched, beaten and killed for us to be viewed as humans and not animals and be given the most basic of human rights, and lastly how can we return from our fall from grace?, I would like to think that striking dialogue on the subject is a start because the first step to fixing a problem is to admit that you have one and to take it from there...so with that said here is my acknowledgement of the issue now lets fix it folks!.......#Message
