There was a post today that appears now to have been deleted, from a person in a donor family looking for a recipient from several years ago. I asked that she please respect the wishes of the recipient, who may have his or her own reasons for not having gotten in touch. I dont know whether she took down the post or a moderator did. It raises the question, though, whether this group should be transitioned to a closed group, for recipients, candidates, and families. There may be people here who have revealed details about their transplant, without realizing that they may make themselves identifiable, when they previously decided that they hadnt wished to identify themselves to a recipient family. Thoughts? Do we have a moderator still in the group who could do this if the group thought it was a good idea?
