There was a time, not so long ago, that I would send love note - TopicsExpress

There was a time, not so long ago, that I would send love note emails to Amy during her work day, randomly - with no rhyme or reason as to the time of year, or the time of day even. I mostly did this when she worked at Redmond all those years & I was working in real estate. So we were apart most of the day, every day. And there was no such thing as smart phones or texting back then. Anyway, I was going through the Amy folder in my email software tonight & found this little snippet. I dont remember this one specifically - but in light of recent events, it seems especially dear to me now. It was sometime in 2006. And Im not going to post what she sent back - that part is just for me. Anyway, here is what I sent to her one day, completely out of the blue: Amy... I absolutely love you, without reservation or hesitation and more than any known words can describe. I will love you until the breath leaves my body for good. And, with any luck, beyond death itself even. I hope I can somehow feel this way until the very last photon of light winks out and the sky becomes as black as pitch. And still there would be my love for you... coursing through the darkness... trying to find you for just one last embrace... ***big hug that makes your lips breathe my name***
