There were people wondering why people are waisting water and ice on themselves posting pictures of americans dumping water on their heads then underneath it posting pictures of african children with no water. Im all for saving the world and helping the children in Africa, but in the last few weeks Ive realized that we should focus on HOME. Which is in America for now. People think that this ice bucket challenge is stupid and whatever else but in all honesty this is what its done for https://youtube/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=h07OT8p8Oik raising awareness for diseases that as of right now have no cure. And as someone who is in that boat I will advocate for ANY cure of almost ANYTHING because those of you who dont live with a disease that cant be cured dont know what its like to face whatever challenges it is that people go through with their own diseases. Living with something that is incurable is difficult. Having someone look you in your eye and tell you they can treat it but dont know what else to tell you is...........difficult....to say the absolute least. So again.. if you wonder why anyone is doing it..if you think its stupid ask yourself If I was diagnosed with something incurable would I want research funded for a cure that could help save me?........ Just some quick thoughts.
