There will be more on this when Im more compos mentis, but basically - We want to have a deep logic / mathematics conference, probably as a player event, though Im daunted by the possibility of hosting myself, because my group is tiny and I dont know the first thing about running such an event myself. Probably after E4, because IC we would want to have the chance to invite an Eternal (or possibly invite the Eternal to host, which would be awesomer). IC it would be partly an exhibition of the Empires Arete in the area to a Day Eternal and partly an opening shot at one of the Big Hard Questions. OOC I want it to be as accessible as possible, because if we actually run a conference on the foundations of logic then we will run into the massive problem that a postgraduate mathematics education is a smidgen too much of a physrep requirement - or as one person I asked about this said, OC, if I could answer that question then Id be collecting my Fields Medal rather than sitting around in this field. Ill post some ideas on how this could be achieved when Im not crashing quite as much as I am right now. Also OOC, wed be looking for a place to physically host and organise. As I said, Im daunted by the possibility of having to do it myself, and my spire IC would be an absolutely terrible location.
