Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death. For what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh, so that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. For those who are according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. – Romans 8:1-5 For those who are “in Christ” there is no condemnation, because Christ has already suffered that condemnation for you on the cross. The Law could not save; it can only condemn. But God sent His Son to save us and do what the Law could not do. There are no conditions to meet, we already have God’s approval. It doesn’t say we will never sin or make mistakes because Christians do. We have been set free from the bondage of sin and now for believers sin is a choice, not our master. We are now led by the Spirit which lives in us and enables us to walk in obedience to His will. If you are a believer sin is now a choice!
